FOOTBALL

Full-contact youth football for ages 5U–12U in Cypress, Texas. Travel and local league options available.

Registration will increase to $250 May 1st, then $300 June Late Registration.

About CYPE Tackle Football

Cypress Elite tackle football is a full-contact program for youth athletes ages 5U–12U. We offer both travel and local league options to fit every athlete's commitment level and development goals. Our program prioritizes player safety, teamwork, and competitive development at every age group.

Age Cutoff

The age cutoff for all divisions is July 31st (07/31). A player's age group is determined by their age as of that date each season.

League Certification Fee

Please be aware that there is an additional fee paid directly to the league upon player certification. This fee is separate from the CYPE registration fee and is required for all players to be eligible to compete.

Required Documentation to Compete

All players must be able to present a valid proof of age/identity document in order to compete. Accepted documents (in order of preference): State ID (preferred), Birth Certificate, Military ID. Players who cannot present valid documentation will not be permitted to compete.

Season Schedule

Spring training begins in March with full rostered practice kicking off in June. The regular season starts September 1st and runs through the fall. Teams competing in TYFA will have travel requirements, while Texas Sports teams play locally in the Cypress area. Practice is held on Mondays & Wednesdays, 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
